this weeks exercise log

Monday: 50min cardio max, 1hr treadmill (3 miles)
Tues: 50 min cardio max, 1 hour treadmill (3 miles)
Wed: 2 hrs treadmill (5 miles)
Thurs: 2 hrs treadmill (5 miles)
Friday: 1 hour treadmill (2.5 miles)
Saturday: 20 min treadmill (1 mile), 20 min cardio max
Sunday: none

Toward the end of the week the workouts kind of taper off, I just didn’t have the energy to move and couldn’t figure out why until late Friday night when the fever started and just overall a horrible sickly feeling. I hope the worst of it is over. Tomorrow is once again weigh in day so I hope the slack off on the exercise doesn’t hurt too bad.

looking forward to weighing in…

Even with Thanksgiving I am still looking forward to weighing in on Monday. I watched what I ate today and think I did fairly good and managed to stay under 1600 calories. I have not had much luck this far in losing weight so I have started looking for other positives like inches lost and endurance during workouts. This weeks exercise:
Monday: 50 minutes Biggest Loser cardio max & 1 hour treadmill (3 miles)
Tuesday: 50 min cardio max & 1 hour treadmill (3 miles)
Wednesday: 2 hrs treadmill (5 miles)
Thursday: 2 hrs treadmill (5 miles)

With my husbands work Christmas party coming up I really hope that all the hardwork I’m putting in has some kind of result. Would love it if that result would be being a little more comfy in my own skin. Hope everyone else is having great sucess!

Thanksgiving, ugh!

i have a plan for dinner tomorrow, no fried foods, no breads, no dessert, small plate and small portions, drink lots of water and make every decision as healthy as possible. And a long walk after eating followed by normal daily workout once I get back home. Now all I have left to do is put that plan into action once I get there and write down every thing I eat. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!!!

This weeks exercise:

Monday: 30 minutes Cardio, 1 hr (2.5miles) treadmill
Tuesday: 30 minutes Cardio, 70 min (3miles) treadmill
Wednesday: 50 minutes Cardio, 1 hr 49min (4.7 miles)treadmill

My goal for this week is to get in at least 1hr 30 min of exercise daily, and to also get in at least 20 miles on the treadmill.

I dont like this rollercoaster and I want off!!!

Got up and weighed this morning and had somehow gained back the two pounds that I had lost yesterday, ggrrr!!! Yesterday I did 30 minutes of cardio and an hour of treadmill which was 3 miles. I stayed under 1600 calories. So I just dont get this. Why in the world am I working my butt off and watching what I eat and not seeing results?  Ok so I did see results one pound at a time and every other day I am gaining it back, and I am also working out 7 days a week now. Someone please help and tell me what Im doing wrong this is frustrating. Ok sorry wont complain anymore. Have a great day all!!

2 lbs down, yay!!!

After gaining back 4 lbs, I finally lost 2 of them. So happy!!! That was until my husband came home and said that his company christmas party was going to be the 5th of December instead of right before christmas so I have even less time to get on track and go shopping for some clothes to wear. I know there isnt going to be a major difference between now and then but I am going to work my butt off to make sure that there is at least some difference.  oh ya, and I am officially a week smoke free. It feels great, Im loving this total transformation and cant wait until the totally new me is not a complete mess anymore.

back on track!!

Im not going to let the 4 lb gain get me down, Im ready for changes but am willing for it to take time to get there. I got up and got moving this morning and cleaned the entire house then went off to go grocery shopping with the family and once it was all carried in and put away I got right to cardio for 30 minutes and then treadmill for one hour. I am at about 1300 calories for today so far and do plan one more snack in just a few minutes. So I think Im doing pretty good for today, and oh ya, 6 days no smoking YAY.

uuggghhhh!!!!

So weigh in day and I gained 4 pounds. NOT COOL!!!!! I changed up my routine last week and started doing the Biggest loser cardio max and it is making a difference in my body, I can tell my muscle is getting stronger, balance is getting better and I know I am not going to see immediate results but surely I could at least get some result besides gaining 4 pounds. So I am totally blaming this on not smoking, quitting smoking does slow down metabolism, ha ha, sorry just had to say it even though I know better and Im really not looking for an excuse to start smoking again, I feel pretty good in this quit.  Ok so no excuses I gained 4 pounds so Im almost back to where I started that means I must not be doing something right so time to change it up again I guess until I figure out what works.

what was I thinking

Today is day 5 without smoking YAY for that but I feel like I ate everything in site today. I felt like I was starved, belly grumbling, hunger pains, the whole deal but really did not need all that food. So was it because of not smoking and substituting the oral fixation? or is it just close to that dreaded time of the month? Not real sure about which but I know I cant continue that eating habit. I got in 50 minutes of the biggest loser cardio max today. I went ahead and jumped ahead to level 3 and just do all three levels in one workout. I also took the puppy to the park today and got in a mile walk with him.  Ok so the plan for tomorrow is watch what Im eating, and not just watch it go in, seriously think about it, write it down then eat it. Also, pick up the workout get in some good time so that Mondays weigh in will not be upsetting. And most important for tomorrow, remain smoke free. One day at a time and I will beat this.

feeling better and back on track

Got back to the routine today, did my biggest loser cardio max workout today except I stepped it up to level 2. I think it will be a while before I step up to level 3, I seriously need to gain some balance before I go much further. I have been craving meatloaf so badly lately so finally today I made some and enjoyed. It was so good and filled me up without having to eat much and I made it with 98% lean ground beef so it wasnt bad calorie wise either. 

T0day is also my second day with out smoking, it has been so hard but I have made it. I got extremely grouchy with my husband today with was totally because of withdrawls but he also has to accept blame for it because he did deserve it. I was speaking with him on the phone and I told him that the cravings were horrible but I was dealing with it and he says back to me, do you just want me to go buy you a carton of cigarettes? Needless to say I flipped, he has never been supportive in any of my attempts to quit but I have told him many many times that I did not appreciate him saying thing like that.

Ok so tomorrow is going to be a treadmill day to take a break from the cardio max because my legs are aching, and I also need to get some miles in before weigh in day. best of luck to you all!
